 Wifes 850tdi starts perfect cold,won`t start hot unless you let it
stand for about twenty minutes.Dealer suspects key,I suspect fuel
cutoff solenoid.I noticed a guy called Dennis Evans had this same
problem a couple of years ago,is he still about the group?Does anyone
else have any ideas.
Also is Volvo softwear available from Volvo and anyone know the cost?

 si votre voiture a plus 300000 km, je pense que la pression de transfert de la pompe d'injection est en cause. sur la mienne, j'ai ajout une pompe electrique de transfert avec une pression maxi 0,3 bar et cela fonctionne tres bien. Vous pouvez aussi abaisser la pression de tarage des injecteurs d'environ 20 bars et cela aussi fonctionne tres bien sans danger pour le moteur.

 for your 850TDI, is necessary to remove the cover of the fuel injection pump and to replace the probe of fuel.
ref: Bosch 2 464 509 015-000 approxi 15 Euros.
this reference is only for 850TDI.
and the restart ok .

 see probe temp braun cable
cold =340 Ohms start ok
normal= 34 Ohms start ok
hot = 30 Ohms no start
insert a relay on probe temp with a 120 Ohms r sistor 1/4watt
probe braun cable 30/87a
start 30/87
15 on start relay and start ok
