 Hey, just thought I'd give you guys first dibs on my 1984 Scirocco. I
absolutely loved this car when I drove it. This one only has 130,000.

It needs some annoying stuff on the inside like power window switches. The
odo doesn't work anymore and the clutch might need replacing in the next
10,000 miles or so.

But I put new plugs in it this morning and it runs sweet. Coolant is clean
and the oil is new. All I want out of this car is 550. Might come down
from there a tiny bit.

I did a lot of work to this car and until I was given a saturn (which I
hate) I drove it a fair bit. It has sway bars and neuspeed shifter parts
and suspension goodies. And an exhaust header. The catalytic converter is
gone too ... Replaced with low resistance pipe :-)­

I am owner #3

1st owner was a kid who worked at a VW dealer. He tricked it out and crashed
it. My friend Ronnie fixed it up and drove it for a while and I bought it.

Someone who was willing to spend about 2-3000 in fixing this car up would
have a fantastic classic sports car that handles like a dream. I would
definitely buy another scirocco in the future but right now I have to enjoy
the 944 I just got.
