Windshield Washer Pump

Randall Brink 5 February 2005 22:33:51
Has anyone had experience with the type of windshield washer bottle that
appears to have a small pump recessed into the wall of the neoprene fluid
tank?

I have never seen this type before, always having the spare-tire-pressurized
type in the past.

I don't kow where the actuator switch is for this little pump, or whether or
not it even works.

i have used the cheapo ones that you can buy from JCWhitney in the
past..they worked great, but the pump motors did not last real well.....i
recently bought this:

have not installed it yet, and don't know when i will since i am kind of in
the middle of stripping it down, instead of putting it back together(any
more than i already have, which is just enough to be able to play in the
snow with it)....

 Hello all...

My windshield washer pump gave up the ghost while driving the other day.
Now it does not even click when I try to use it. It kind of stuttered a few
times before dying...at first I thought I was just out of fluid, but now no
noise at all. I'm thinking the power connection rattled loose on our lovely
bumpy roads. Where is the darned thing? I know it's not hard to get at,
because I watched a friend reconnect it a few years ago, but for the life of
me I can't remember where it is.

Any advice appreciated!

Toni from T.O.

You know where you fill it?

Right at the bottom of that reservoir..
The whole assembly (overflow and WW fluid) unbolts easily to get at it.
