Fuel Warning light stays on

The Fuel Warning light on my wife's new Beetle stays on all the time.
Despite going to VW Birmingham it has not been fixed. Does anybody
know if this a common problem - the light staying on I mean - not the
dealer unable to fix - we all know that is common!!!

I'd contact VW UK , I'm hearing too many horror stories about Hartwell
Smithfields or whatever they call themselves this week, I had a new Golf
this year and gave VW Bham the opportunity to sell me one, pretty girls but
not worth the 1000+ ukp I saved on new buying elsewhere.
A few years back a colleage purchased a Passat from them, they were nice as
pie until he paid, the handover of thecar consisted of the sales rep giving
him the keys and the handbook and telling him his vehicle was out in the
compound somewhere! Then the seat was creaking and it took 8 visits and 6
months before they resolved it.

You could try Ventura Park at New Oscott .....
