	Hi, I recently was parked at the side of the road outside my house unloading - I switched on my hazard lights and they were merrily flashing away, but then after about 5 mins they stopped. No problem, as I was driving away then anyway, but then I found that my indicators weren't working either. They started to work about 10 (dicey) mins later Not sure why. Any ideas? Thanks Will

I had > the> same problem on my Passat, and it was only cured after the hazard switch> unit was changed.> J.> Wrong ! the switch is a switch and the relay is a relay (seperate item) but as the hazards and the indicators both use the same relay then that relay needs to have an ignition feed for the indicators but a permanent feed for the hazards, so the hazard switch also switches the feed as required and when this switch fails you lose the ignition feed for the indicators. That is why a faulty hazard switch can stop your indicators from working !
