Four-bolt on the larger engine 914 would probably be the Pedrini wheels.
Keep in mind there are at least two different kinds of Pedrinis - the early
ones which you want and the later ones for hub-centered mounting. Later ones
won't work.

I'd watch eBay to see price trends.

The ones I am looking at are fuchs, in great shape. I've seen the replicas
for around $140 each. I was wondering what a reasonable price is for the
OEM porsche fuchs that came as orig equipp on 914s with the 2.0 liter option

There was no 2.0 litre imported 914 that I know of. It bombed and was > replaced with the 1.7 and 1.8. But you do want THOSE wheels, right? Go > with the replicas.>

Huh?

914s were made for 6 years and there was a 2L version sold, both here
and in europe, each year. VW-Porsche made 2 different engines
available each year, one small, one 2.0L.

For the 1st 2 years the 2.0 was the 6 cyl 911 engine and the car was
sold as the 914/6. These are quite scarce.

For the last 4 years the 2.0 was a 4 cyl VW type 4 engine.

In the early years the small engines were 1.7L and the later ones were
1.8L, both just smaller versions of the VW type 4 engine.

Smaller versions of the VW T4? Huh - they were all virtually the same
engine with a few minor changes like valve size, compression ratio
(domed/flat or concave pistons), Carb vs EFI, Oil filler placement and
flywheel size (215 or 210). There indeed was a 1.7 (1679cc), 1.8 and a 2.0
along with the 2.2L 6 cylinder. A fair price for the lighweight 4 bolt
Fuchs would be $300-500 (for 4) with NO curb rash or repainting (they were
anodized not painted) --- including the required longer lug nuts and the
stainless steel center caps. Both Pedrini (made in Italy) and Mahle were
also factory optional wheels --- both have a snad cast appearance and the
Mahle's were painted white, orange, yellow, and green on special editions.
