Power Steering Fluid in brake system  lgr318 12 May 2007 15:10:41 | ||
| Our local auto repair company put brake fluid in the power steering reservoir and power steering fluid in the brake master cylinder when the motor was worked on. The car was driven approximately 1000 miles before discovering the problem when changing the oil and checking fluid levels. What problems/repairs can I expect from seals and etc.? LgR | ||

| Your brakes will fail!!!!!!!!!!! Any oil product put in the brake fluid reservoir will cause all seals to swell, etc. You will begin to have brake fade etc. Replace all hoses and master cylinder, etc. , etc. | ||
