| Allright, I have found out that it is the rings, making my truck spit oil, but I stil have a problem. When I start the truck it runs, friggin awesome, but then after a minute or two, it bogs down, and has no pick up, then that will go away, and it runs better, but I still don't get the acccleration, I should. I'm thinking fuel pump, but it doesn't do it all the time. It's driving me crazy, and… | ||

| I have a 1990 Chevy truck with a 350cu. When I first start it, it bogs down when i give gas, and if I give it too much it stalls, the check engine light isn't on so I don't think it's a sensor, but I cant figure it out. Also I'm thinking bad rings because the spark plug for the #2 cylinder is caked with oil, and I have oil blowing through the exhaust manifold, also through the breather tube into… | ||

| try to have it act up at idle, then spray some carb cleaner or somthing similar down the throat of the intake to richen the mixture and see if there' an improvement. if so you may have a bad injector. | ||

| yep, that will be ya rings. i had the same problem with a 318 mopar v8 . the rings were broke in 3 cylinders. | ||
