 Yours must be the V8 like mine. The V6 has the oil filter located right
behind the radiator that you can remove while standing up.

Yeh. I hate to remove the skid plate everytime. Those screws will be
stripped eventually. I may drive the truck over the ramp next time and
buy a oil filter wrench to remove the filter with the skid-plate on. I
use only OEM filters.
