Sorry, wait for responses as I am not asnwering your quest. I just wonder:
11K miles and 2005 model, too much for half year, I used 4K miles in half
year not 11 because people forget about trains and bicycles and walking.
This country is complaining on cancer and heart desease/obesity, well: bike

Today I was driving on the highway on my 05 Camry XLE, which has about
11 k miles on it and the Check Engine light came on - along with the
VSC and TRAC OFF light.

Any 05 Camry owners here experiencing the same problem?

Could the reason be the Heated Oxygen Sensor wiring? I see that the
wiring harnesses for heated oxygen sensors are near the oil filter. I
change my own oils, could it be possible that the dirty oil got into
the wiring connectors causing electrical problems for the check engine
light to occur? I don't know what the VSC and TRAC off would have
anything to do with that. But anyway.

If thats the case, than I'm guessing every 05 camry's would be having
the same probs.

If that's not it, there's nothing Ive done except drive the vehicle for
this to occur..

One more question. Would using aftermarket oil filter (Valvoline Max
Life) void warranty? :)

Thank you. I'd appreciate any help.

It would not void the warranty in the US (by law) unless they could prove
that it was defective AND caused the problem. If you suspect that they might
do that, take some photos of it before getting warranty service.

How about the check engine lite code? How else would anybody know what the
problem is? Nothing you are stating makes any sense, why would you suspect
all these issues without any info here?

Tighten the gas cap would me my first guess. Did you just get gas recently?

That's the first thing I did after the light came on, was to check the
cap and it was already tight.

I still don't know what caused it...but everythings good now. Another
thing I can think of was over filling the gas tank.

The lights are off now, and everythings good now though. Went off by
itself after a little driving..

If you weren't going to answer...why did you post unrelated incoherent
gibberish?

I had similar happen on my 02 Highlander - was a vacuum hose on bottom of
air filter housing I had knocked off while changing air filter

When you tighten the gas cap, make sure you twist until you hear several
clicks. If the light went off by itself, a loose gas cap is a very likely
suspect.

Check your tire pressures. If unequal they could confuse the VSC and
Traction control. Also make sure tires are wearing evenly.
