Attaching tail light

1980 Tbird tail light just fits into place w/o any clips. What should I use
to 'glue' it to the trim? There was some black putty like material all
around but it is too loose for my liking.

Thanks

Everything on a 1980 FoMoCo product is too loose for anyone's liking.
Parts fall off as a matter of course, so you're looking at a non-factory
solution. Duco Cement or some sort of epoxy would probably do the job.
