	I would swap flashers with the emergency flasher first to see if it is just a failed flasher. A broken filament can cause all sorts of bizarre turn signal behavior. If all the filaments are good in the bulbs I would move on to suspect the flasher unit. There are two, one for the turn signals and one for the hazard lights, switch them around for a quick and cheap test. Since you describe both the left and the right turn signals are not functioning I would also suspect the multifunction switch or possibly the hazard switch in the steering column. I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong but I believe that era of Blazer has issues with the multifunction switch or the hazard switch malfunctioning and causing all of the brake lights but the CHMSL (Center High Mounted Stop Lamp) to not function. I know I have seen MANY like this on the road, in traffic. -- Alan Gallacher Born to Tinker!
