2005 Audi A6: OBD2 - CAN or not?

Hello,

Can somebody please tell me, if the older ODB2 interface KEY-USB (such
as from <http://www.ross-tech.com>) works with the latest 2005 Audi A6,
or do I need the newer CAN-capable interface (that's $100+ more
expensive)? Are there things/modules that are accessible only via CAN
interface in this new car?

Thanks!

Thank you! It means that older (than CAM) protocols will not work, correct?
