 Can anyone tell me definitively if these are TTY or not?
I don't have the manual in front of me so don't know, and
I'm helping someone a couple of states away from me.

Thanks!

 I rebuilt an 84, and it was not TTY, but unfortunately I cannot tell you
about the later one.

The 84, as did many of this series, had a propensity to crack. I had to
pull a half dozen blocks from the junkyard before I found one that was
sound. Dont know if
yours is an improvement of this design or the same old story.

Yes, they are torque to yield.

The spec is;
Tighten all head bolts in sequence to 18 ft-lbs (25Nm).
Then tighten to 26 ft-lbs (35 Nm)on all except number 9.
Tighten number 9 to 18 ft-lbs (25 Nm).
Repeat sequence, tightening all bolts 1/4 turn (90 degrees).
