Yeah, you could get a good start by adding an actual truck to it. Explorers, no matter how they're equipped, aren't fit for towing an empty Radio Flyer, let alone a two and a half ton trailer! Are you suicidal, or just out of your mind??? Isn't it bad enough that the things flip over at the drop of a hat?
Insanity... Sending an SUV (and one of the worse ones, at that) to do an actual truck's job. The cop ought to have a field day when he sees you go by...

What about using an actual *TRUCK*, rather than trying to get by with an SUV??? The Explorer is a "cute" enough little soccer-mom ride, and the pushbutton 4WD does come in handy from time to time, but fergawdsake, man, it ain't a truck, any more than its cousin the Bronco is, no matter what the salesman tried to tell you!
