I just bought a car with a Viper in it that the owner couldn't find the
"clicker" for back when I picked it up. What the book says to do is that
there is usually a pushbutton switch hidden under the dash somewhere.
You get in and put the key in, then once you turn the ignition on, you
have 15 seconds to push this switch to silence the alarm and it will
allow you to start the car.

If you've disconnected things, well you may or may not have another
problem.
