Costs more to mount/balance ultra high performance tires?

A mechanic told me that it would cost more to mount/balance my GoodYear
F1 GS-D3 tires than the other regular times. He said it is more
difficult to balance these ultra high performance ones. Is this crap or
is he legit? I thought mounting and balancing is pretty much the same
for all tires. Thanks.

If they have a modern tire machine it is not probably not any harder to
mount or unmount your tire. What could possibly take longer is getting
the beads to seat. (The tire holding air and getting it inflated) Also,
it could take longer to balance because they may want to use adhesive
wheel weights instead of clip on weights. You may be paying extra for
the time that it takes to get your tires on, not any more for the
expertise.

When I had a car that used H rated tires, I was never charged extra.
