You are silly. If you KNEW WTF was wrong with Ken's car, you would> have told EVERYBODY by now and you would be a HERO in a confetti> parade in Times Square New York City.>
But,>
You haven't a ----fuckin---- CLUE.>
Do ya boi.

Sure, I have plenty of clues, for certain they have little to do
with -YOU- bench testing the CMP and CKP sensors off of your
MERCURY and achieving the absolute conclusion that your newly
discovered test regimes cover all possible failures relating to
said components when built by and mounted on a Buick.
Ya see Lawrence, situation as it is, we now first need to filter
down the signal to noise ratio emanating from the likes of YOU
who mistakenly describe test procedures and components that the
vehicle in question never came equipped with.
IOWs, Ken's car would have been fixed days ago had it not been
for you opening your big fat yap and sending him on a wild goose
chase describing fictitious components. You don't have the
faintest clue what componentry is on Ken's Buick, looking in the
service manual of your 2003 Sable is NOT going to provide the
answers. You fail miserably, you divert resources that could be
utilized towards helping Ken with his problem, but towards the
greater good, Ken's problem has to wait lest someone take -your-
postings as something even remotely based in fact.
It's readily apparent that you have enormous trouble following
context, I mean hell, how fucking Cream City Brick stupid does
someone have to be to think that a Mercury Sable service manual
and the information contained within would be of ANY use when
trying to fix a 1992 Buick Century?
Remember posting this?> Hey guys, I am looking in a repair manual at my crankshaft position> sensor. Lemme see what it says:.............

Seriously, how far out in left field can you get?
Who fucking cares what it says, a Buick is not a Mercury.
Only an idiot or a moron would begin to think that anything other
than wasted time and effort could result from drawing any sort of
conclusion based upon what you read in a god damned Ford service
manual.
You definitely DO fit in to the very undesirable classification
known as "knows enough to be dangerous."

Now, before you fly off half cocked, look in your service manual
and give us YOUR explanation of how the camshaft position sensor
works on a 1996 Saturn SC or SL equipped with the 1.9 liter SOHC
engine.
I'll wager that you can't even begin to come close.

You're not thinking of All the angles aa.

Silly me. You're correct, it could be a flat tire or broken
window crank handle, or even a burned pot of Boston baked beans...

Ah, I was thinking the toothed wheel was on the crank *inside* the
block. Thanks for the clarification. Good info!

A quick update on my problems of the Century 92 that is.
Changed the CPS atoday, no change. I was really hoping that was it. I
used a new one by the way. While it is no better, it is no worse. Unless
you count the burst coolant bypass hose.
