growling sound when moving

Dw125358 11 April 2005 02:47:23
I have a growling sound in my 1980 911 when moving. The trans has plenty
of oil and I've checked the connections at the universals and everything
is tight. The rubber boots inside the rear wheel hups seem empty. Do
they need repacked (like wheel bearings) every so many miles or is there
anything else you would recommend checking.
