2000 Montana steering problem?

 Hi,

I'm suspecting there might be a problem with the steering, it's feeling
heavier and heavier and when I turn, it doesn't feel smooth enough. I have
had enough problem with this van and would like to know if the power
steering is one of the known problem as well? Thanks for your advise,
