 Hi

This place offers code extraction for Peugeot / Citroen keypads.

http://www.unimark.freeserve.co.uk/index.htm

Or you Peugeot dealer can reset the code to 1111 with there diagnostic
machine.

Yes they can, Plug it in to the CORRECT Peugeot diagnostic machine & it can
be reset.

The only time they CANT reset the code is when the keypad immobiliser has
totally locked up because somebody has tried too many incorrect codes.

There is another way of resetting keypads, But its NOT for a public forum!

 Hi

Great news that you finally have the keypad code, Now you can change it,
Use the service mode & turn the auto unlocking of the keypad by the remote
plips on & off.

 Hi

To change to code follow these steps, Do these slowly, Dont rush.

Igntion on but dont start the engine.

Enter the old code & then press "C"

Enter a NEW 4 digit code & press "C" again.

4 Green flashes from the keypad & 4 beeps means the new codes accepted.

BUT: The keypad will for safety reasons remember BOTH codes untill the NEXT
time the keypad is used.

Next time you go to start the car enter the code you wish to KEEP & the
other code is erased out the memory.

To get the keyfobs to unlock the keypad for one minute follow these steps.
If you dont have TWO keyfobs, Where it says press the second fob, Use the
first one again.

Enter the 4 digit code on the key pad & then within 10 seconds press C C

Press the large button on the first remote ( 3 beeps )

Press the large button on the second remote ( 4 beeps )

Press C C again ( 5 beeps )

Lock the car with the remote, Unlock the car, Enter the 4 digit keypad code
& then press C 1 C.

Next time you unlock with the remote the keypad should be unlocked for one
minute only.

To switch this feature off enter the code & then C 0 C, To turn it back on
enter the code & then C 1 C

 Hi

I forgot to say, If you have the very early infra red type keys then you
need to point the remote at the receiver in the roof consul.
Just pop the key blade out from the remote fob & use some pliers to turn it
in the ignition.
If you have RF keyfobs you obviously dont need to aim the remote anywhere.

Also if you have a GLX, SRI or Executive on a N, P or early R plate then it
also has a total closure feature built in.

Open all 4 electric windows, Deadlock the car with the remote, Big button
first then within 3 seconds the small button & watch the windows shut
themselves.

Is there any reason why the above might not work? I've tried it many times
and although each step is confirmed with the right number of beeps, I still
need the code every time :(

Ben.
