"I have always enjoyed racing at Kansas. I like the way the race track
is laid out. It is fast and smooth, and the track is wide so you can race
side-by-side just about anywhere. I have always run well at Kansas, but
the finishes may not show that because we have had some kind of
mechanical problem. It's going to take a good handling truck and a lot
of horsepower to win at Kansas this weekend. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck
Series is so competitive these days that those are really the keys for
any race track we go to. The Red Horse Racing team is really looking
forward to racing on a track with the size and speed of Kansas. We had
kind of struggled at those tracks earlier this year, and crew chief Jamie
Jones and the guys think that we have found some solutions that are going
to help us be a contender at the 1.5-mile tracks. We're looking forward
to going there, using what we have learned and hopefully conquering these
fast race tracks like Kansas."
