Tony Stewart likes life at number one. He landed the No. 33 Kevin Harvick
Racing Chevy on the Busch pole for the Stater Bros. 300 at California
Speedway. Stewart grabbed the track record with his lap of 185.941 mph.

"We're really excited about this Old Spice Chevrolet," said Stewart. "It
was really good yesterday in long runs. We felt that it really didn't have
a lot of speed up front but that it was really good in the middle and in
the end of a run."
