 DUCATI XEROX TEAM'S 2005 SUPERBIKE CAMPAIGN GETS UNDERWAY IN PERSIAN
GULF STATE OF QATAR

Losail (Qatar), Wednesday 23 February: World Superbike heads to
the Middle East for the first time in its history as the Losail
International Circuit in Qatar plays host to the opening round of the
2005 championship. Last October James Toseland became the youngest-ever
WSBK champion when he beat off the attacks from team-mate Regis Laconi
to take the 2004 title and the Anglo-French duo will be lining up on the
grid again as team-mates on the red 999 machines from Borgo Panigale,
this time in the colours of new title sponsor, Xerox.

 DUCATI XEROX TEAM KICK-STARTS 2006 WORLD SUPERBIKE CAMPAIGN AT LOSAIL
DESERT CIRCUIT IN QATAR

The Ducati Xerox Team officially gets its 2006 World Superbike campaign
underway this weekend in the Gulf state of Qatar, the venue for the
opening round of the championship at the Losail International Circuit on
Saturday 25th February. The team will compete in this year's 13-round
championship for production-based machines with a totally new rider
line-up. Australian Troy Bayliss returns to Ducati to spearhead the
squad and he will be flanked by the talented young Italian Lorenzo
Lanzi, who earned his place in the team with two late wins at the end of
the 2005 season.

Losail (Qatar), Wednesday 21st February: The Losail International Circuit
in Qatar is the venue for the opening round of the 2007 racing season
this weekend as the World Superbike Championship moves into its twentieth
year. Very little has changed for last year's championship-winnin­g Ducati
Xerox Team, which goes into the new season with renewed hopes of success,
judging by the pace set during winter testing by double world champion
Troy Bayliss and his Italian team-mate Lorenzo Lanzi, who line up
together again.
