 California Preview: "California Speedway is an enjoyable track to
race on. It is a fast and wide track that offers multiple racing grooves.
It gives us a lot of room to race which allows for a great show for the
fans. California is more of a handling track. You will make adjustments
in air pressures or to the track bar during the race to make your truck
stronger. It is 360 degrees different from last week at Daytona. At
Daytona so much is out of your hands, where at California you control
your destiny. The track reminds me a lot of Michigan and the No. 18 Dodge
has had solid runs at Michigan and California in the past. I expect us to
have a solid qualifying effort and race even better. This team is focused
on winning races. California Speedway is the perfect place for us to go
and rebound after the disappointing finish last week."

2005 Season: "It's definitely refreshing to be the pilot of No.
18 Dodge in 2005. I've driven family-owned stuff for several years
now. I had deals with Brewco Motorsports and BHR2 in the past. Those
are both great organizations with good people. They're learning and
starting to really gain knowledge of the sport. To have this opportunity
with an established team means a lot to me. It is my chance to show what
Chase Montgomery is made of. Last week at Daytona was so much fun for
everyone on this team. We were strong even though our finish does not
show that. I've got guys who are ready to win. That's cool, and
I get to drive their truck every week. It's the best stuff I've
ever been in. This organization won the championship last year. The
equipment at Bobby Hamilton Racing is outstanding and I would put it up
against anyone in this field. I'm ready to go win some races. Bobby
Hamilton did not hire me to follow him around. He hired me to win races
and challenge him for the win every weekend. When you finish second to
Bobby you know you were good, but to beat Bobby you are a winner. I want
to be a winner. All of us at Bobby Hamilton Racing will win in 2005, you
can bet on that."
