The bad weather caught up with testing at Valencia on Wednesday, where heavy
rain hampered the teams' work. Of the seven drivers present only four set a
time; Michael Schumacher's 1:21.763 was the best of the day. The German
stuck it out for 60 laps and teammate Rubens Barrichello did 14 in second
fastest, to conclude Ferrari's week working on tyres.

McLaren had its test drivers at work; Pedro de la Rosa was third quickest
but Alex Wurz did not set a time. The cars remained in the garage until the
afternoon when slightly improved conditions saw the pair venture out to
conduct some tyre pressure work. De la Rosa put in 16 laps and Wurz just
two.
