Colorado Springs, Colo - February 17, 2005 - The Falken Tire Pikes Peak
International Hill Climb, the second oldest motorsports event in the United
States, today announced a $36,000 minimum purse ($24,000 for the vehicle
divisions and $12,000 for the motorcycle divisions) for the 2005 race.
