 Rain Cuts PIR Test Short

Avondale, Ariz. -- A rain-shortened second day of testing at Phoenix
International Raceway limited track time Thursday for all teams in the
IndyCar Series, and sent Panther Racing home early. Both Panther
Chevrolets turned a fair share of laps in the morning session, and Tomas
Enge and the No. 2 team were able to practice several pits stops before
the lunch break. However, as both cars were headed to pit lane for their
afternoon runs, the rain came and forced the team to head back to
Indianapolis.
