And why would you think that? I don't like the IRL, but I know my stuff.

- Only Ed Carpenter has never raced on a road course before.
- Only Ed, Danica Patrick and Sam Hornish Jr. are the only drivers other
than Ed (of course) to NOT have won a series race on a road course before
- EVERYONE ELSE has MULTIPLE WINS on road courses at some point in their
career (not counting karts)
- 17 of the 21 drivers ARE FORMER SERIES CHAMPIONS in series that includ
road-courses. (Ed, Danica, Sam & Helio have never won a championship turning
right, not including karts).

That last tidbit might be surprising to some, but this year's Indy Car field
is fairly decent. Sure many of them haven't turned right on a regular basis
for some time, but they still be able to keep the car on the track.

Friday 1st session saw crashes by: AJ, Sam, Roger Yasukawa, Tomas Scheckter,
Ryan Briscoe.

2 of them are former F1 test-drivers. One of them just plain sucks, and the
other 2, oh well.

LOL - I should proof read before posting. That should have read 'only Danica
.. and Sam, other than Ed (of course).. have NOT won a series race on a road
course'
