 Forbid that someone should post some current news here but...

In case you've been living in a cave, Champ Cars were in action this week at
Fontana doing some testing. Da Matta was fastest one day, Wilson another.
RHR signed with Rocketsports who might be doing a three-car team this year
adding Timo Glock. Marcus Marshall tested Haberfield's car for Walker and
looked good. Some pictures of him were on www.motorsport.com.­ but were
yanked apparently after the team complained because it's Haberfield sponsor
on the car. Other pictures remain (shameless plug). Andrew Ranger tested for
Conquest and also looked good. Tags was missing but rumor is Saputo may be
stepping up as primary sponsor, maybe as third car for Paul G.

Also www.champweb.net was relaunched and there are pictures there, too. And
in the forum there's a link to yet more pictures.

There's more testing at Sebring in a couple weeks and I hope there are going
to be many announcements, especially of sponsors for Rusport and Da Matta's
car. We're getting close to Long Beach, hopefully not the last time for
Champ Cars.

with him. Also rumoured that Ranger is very very close to signing his deal.

I drove down shoreline yesterday and the bleachers are up and lots of
activity going on.
