 DISAPPOINTING WEEKEND FOR DAMS

After the disappointing result of qualifying yesterday, DAMS had to hope
for good race circumstances and luck to have any chance of scoring some
points. Unfortunately, in both races, Pastor MALDONADO did not cross the
finish line and DAMS is leaving Zolder with no points for the 1st event of
the season. In race 1 MALDONADO could never find the speed to have a
chance of finishing in the points. In race 2 a problem appeared early in
the race, the car had oversteering in the right corners, and although
Pastor had the opportunity to score points he lost control of the car when
he was 7th. The team is enquiring on the problem which may have come from
the tire.
