 Rydell leads the SEAT Sport charge in France

Following today's qualifying session for Round 3 of the World Touring
Car Championship, the SEAT Sport Toledo Cupra of Sweden's Rickard Rydell
finished as the best of the front-wheel drive cars. A frantic final few
minutes of the session saw pole position change hands several times,
with Rickard's 2nd place only secured on the last "flying" lap. So
closely matched were the times, in fact, that both Peter Terting, who
qualified 7th, and Jordi Gene, 8th, were within around six tenths of
a second of the pole-setting time. The Magny-Cours circuit in central
France has seen track temperatures of around 50 degrees this afternoon.

 SEAT Sport provides the French front row

A stunning performance from the SEAT Sport team in today's 30 minute
qualifying session will see the Spanish team occupy both front row places
for tomorrow's 3rd round of the FIA World Touring Car Championship. In
all, 4 of the top 5 qualifying times were set by a SEAT Sport Leon; a
performance which confirmed the optimism expressed by the team in the
days leading up to the WTCC's Race of France.
