Dan Wheldon simply outlasted the competition to win his second straight
race at Twin Ring Motegi and his third of the 2005 season. In a race
where numerous cautions wreaked havoc on fuel strategy, Wheldon ran among
the leaders throughout the race and benefited when race leader Tomas
Scheckter ran out of fuel in the final laps.
