Paul Menard slammed down a lap at 52.037 seconds for a top speed of 184.023
miles per hour to grab his second NASCAR Busch Series pole. The Dale
Earnhardt, Inc/Menard Racing driver was the best of the Chevys at Talladega
Superspeedway.

Qualifying for Saturday's Aaron's 312 was dominated by the Chevrolet Monte
Carlo teams. Kasey Kahne took to the 2.66-mile oval first in a line of 47
attempts, he stopped a top ten Chevy sweep in the Hungry Driver's Racing Dodge
Charger earning the ninth grid position.
