 * Tony Pedregon, the 2003 Funny Car champion, heads to Bristol Dragway
this weekend for the sixth race on the NHRA POWERade series schedule.
Pedregon will race his 'Q' Racing Monte Carlo Nitro Funny Car during the
fifth annual O'Reilly NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals.

 (INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., April 20) - 2003 NHRA World Champion Tony Pedregon
and his Q Power Nitro Funny Car Team head to Bristol (Tenn.) Dragway next
weekend for the O'Reilly NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals.

Pedregon, coming off of a tumultuous weekend in Las Vegas, has high hopes
heading into the Bristol race: "The incentives are high at Thunder
Valley," he said. "I've won a lot of races and have been able to win
in pretty much every market, but I just haven't been able to visit the
winner's circle in Bristol. So there's incentive because I haven't
won, incentive because of the whole Las Vegas issue where we had a 4.79
disallowed because we did not stop at the inspection scales, and
incentive because the race is presented by my major sponsor, Q Power.
It's a great facility - it goes without saying anything owned by Bruton
Smith is gold - and I'm looking for redemption there."

 INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (July 3, 2007) -- Tony Pedregon, the 2003 NHRA Nitro
Funny Car Champion and his Q Horsepower team will bring 8,000 horsepower
of nitro thunder to the Thunder Valley of Bristol, Tennessee as Bristol
Dragway hosts the O'Reilly NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals Presented by
Q, July 6-8, 2007, the 12th stop on the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing's $50
million, 23-race tour.

Pedregon is fresh off a top four performance at the Summit Racing
Equipment NHRA Nationals in Norwalk last weekend. He lit up the Ohio
evening sky with nitro flames on the way to qualifying 3rd (4.757) and
then went on to win rounds over Tony Bartone (4.871) and Tim Wilkerson
(4.961) before falling short to Kenny Bernstein (4.992) in the semifinal
round. Pedregon moves up 3 positions to 3rd in the Countdown to the
Championship points battle.
