 Matsuura Pleased with Opening Practice in Japan

Kosuke Matsuura logged the ninth fastest time following two practice
sessions today in preparation for the Bridgestone Indy Japan 300, Round
Four of the IRL IndyCar Series. Matsuura was in the first group for both
sessions, battling understeer and a dirty race track during his initial
outing at his homeland circuit to post a best lap of 28.1801 194.180
mph. He was able to make substantial gains in the final 45-minute
practice session to move into the top 10 overall at the 1.5-mile Twin
Ring Motegi oval.
