The IRL IndyCar® Series will be making its annual international excursion
this week to the state-of-the-art Twin Ring Motegi facility for the
Bridgestone Indy^Ù Japan 300. Scott Sharp won the inaugural IndyCar
Series race on the 1.5-mile oval in 2003, marking his eighth victory in
the series, and finished ninth last year - one of his best results in a
difficult 2004 season.

With a win and second-place finish in three starts at the Twin Ring
Motegi circuit, Scott Sharp is eagerly anticipating the IndyCar Series'
annual trip to Japan. Sharp won the series' inaugural race on the
state-of-the-art facility's 1.5-mile oval in 2003, and his second-place
run last year was the springboard to a solid campaign which netted fifth
position in the final championship standings.
