Michelin and its partner teams continue to set the Formula One
pace on the sport&#146;s return to its European heartland. McLaren test

 MICHELIN RUNNERS LOOK STRONG AS PACE HOTS UP AT IMOLA

World championship leader Fernando Alonso (Renault) was fastest of the Michelin
drivers on the opening day of the San Marino Grand Prix meeting at Imola. The
Spaniard, who scored two wins and one second place in the season's opening three
races, set fastest time - 1m 25.043s - in this afternoon's second free practice session.
