The Mild Seven Renault F1 Team completed a satisfying opening day at the
San Marino Grand Prix in Imola. As usual, both drivers worked on
evaluating the two different types of tyre available, while also making
some progress with the set-up of the R25. Their final positions after
second practice show promise for the weekend ahead.

 The Renault F1 Team's weekend in San Marino began with two routine
practice sessions today in Imola.

The morning session saw the team's two drivers completely only
installation laps, before beginning their programmes this afternoon with
several set-up changes to achieve a stable balance on the R26. Their work
was hampered by poor circuit conditions and very low grip levels; as a
result, neither driver was satisfied with the handling by the end of the
session.
