 Looking for two in a row: Four drivers will be looking for their second
consecutive Hooters IHRA Racing Series victories to open the 2005 season.
Clay Millican (Drummonds, TN) won Top Fuel in Texas while Ed Hoover
(Gilbert, SC) claimed Torco Race Fuels Pro Modified, Rob Atchison
(London, ONT) won Funny Car and Daniel Seamon (Bellevue, OH) captured
Torco Race Fuels Pro Stock.

Lucky #9?: Millican will be trying to win the ninth Hooters IHRA national
event held at Rockingham Dragway in a row. The last time the Werner
Enterprises-sponsor­ed Millican failed to win at The Rock was the Holly
Spring Nationals in Spring of 2001. Since that race, the Peter Lehman
Race Team and Millican have claimed every Spring and Fall race at
Rockingham...last beating Danny Dunn at the Bethesda Softworks World
Finals in October.
