LAS VEGAS (April 16, 2005) - Whit Bazemore and the Matco Tools Iron Eagle
Dodge Stratus Funny Car team breathed a sigh of relief following the
final qualifying session today, as the driver who is No. 2 in Funny Car
points finally qualified into the field after struggling through the

LAS VEGAS (April 14, 2007) -- Two weeks after earning his 30th career
pole, 20-time NHRA winner Whit Bazemore clocked a career-best elapsed
time Saturday at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The veteran nitro
pilot blasted his Matco Tools dragster to a run of 4.498-seconds to
qualify fourth at the spring Las Vegas race.
