 HISTORY IS MADE-- 5 AUSSIES INVITED TO BRODIX TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS

KNOXVILLE, IOWA (April 16, 2005) - History was made today
as five Australian 360-cubic-inch sprint car racers have officially been
invited to compete in the seventh Brodix Tournament of Champions, August
7, at the legendary Knoxville Raceway in Iowa. The five drivers, led by
Victorian hotshoes Brett Milburn and Stephen Bell, received the
invitations after completing the seven-race Sprintcar Control Council of
Australia (SCCA) qualifying series at Jeff Drew's Avalon Raceway in
Geelong, Victoria, and Premier Speedway's Sungold Stadium in
Warrnambool, Victoria. The seven events, including the two compulsory
rounds of the Knoxville-Avalon-Pr­emier (KAP) mini-series, took place
under the coordination of Jeff Drew of Avalon, Rob Harris of Premier, Ian
Vale of the Sprintcar Racing Association (SRA) of Victoria, and Jon Evans
of Oval Express.
