 ART Grand Prix team took part in the final testing session in Barcelona
this week prior to the opening two rounds of its debut championship at
Imola, being part of the San Marino F1 GP, from the 22nd to the 24th
of April. The aim was two fold: to put the last touches on the Renault
Dallara on the tight cornered circuit complete with fast turns and long
straights, but also to undergo reliability testing and endurance runs
before the first round of competition.

Frederic Vasseur : The aim of this final testing session was to complete
long runs in order to check the car in racing set-up. We therefore
undertook racing simulations with a lot of fuel onboard to establish our
strategy in Imola. Overall we are satisfied, especially with Nico's good
performance on Thursday afternoon.
