 Long Beach, California, Friday, April 14, 2007 -- New Zealand driver
Matt Halliday driving for Conquest Racing jumped up to 12th position from
yesterday's 17th position in the second round of qualifying in Long
Beach this afternoon. After meeting with his 42 Below fans earlier in the
day, Halliday remained focused and managed to improve his position. As a
rookie to Champ Car this season, Halliday is adjusting well to the street
circuit and building more confidence in his team.
