This Saturday's "Fred Gerhardt Open Wheel Classic" at the
Stockton (Calif.) 99 Speedway presents one of the biggest challenges USAC's
Western Midget Car Series participants will face this year 100 laps
around the 1/4-mile paved oval with 33 cars starting the feature event
