 Californian Craig Stanton Podiums At Home Track, Third Top-Four of
Season

FONTANA, Calif., April 3, 2005 -- Craig Stanton continued his top-four
finish streak at today's Grand American 400 at California Speedway with a
third-place in GT class. The third-round of the 2005 Grand American Rolex
Sports Car Series marked his first podium of 2005 bettering his fourth-place
finishes, in class, at the season-opening Rolex 24 At Daytona and the most
recent round at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Stanton, who lives in nearby Long
Beach, drove the second-stint of the two hour, 45-minute sports car race in
the No. 80 Synergy Racing Porsche 911 GT3 Cup entry. Co-driving with David
Murry (Cumming, Ga.) the long-time, multi-series teammates started fourth in
class and only fell from the top-five when making pit stops. Stanton's
finishes place the 2004 Grand-Am Cup champion among the Series' elite
performers this season and sends a serious message about his effort to
challenge for the 2005 GT class Rolex Series championship.
