 SunTrust Racing Extends Points Lead with Podium Finish

Fontana, California (April 3, 2005) -- The No. 10 SunTrust Racing team
continued to show the racing world their desire to dominate the Grand
American Rolex Sports Car Series this year. After starting from the
eleventh position on the grid, they systematically climbed up the charts
to finish in second place, just a mere .096 seconds from the top spot. It
was the closest finish in the history of Grand American racing. The
SunTrust team's penultimate finishing spot earned them a 17-point
lead over the No. 01 CompUSA/Ganassi team in the 2005 Grand American
point standings, 102 to 85 points.
