 Despite an engine change and no practice laps, on Friday afternoon,
Brandon Knupp qualified his SHOW CONTROL/Pork Ford to a respectable 15th
place starting position for the PFG Lester 150 here at Nashville
Superspeedway.

On Saturday, Brandon and the Mark Knupp Racing Team were well prepared
to take on the 1.33 concrete track. It was clear that Brandon was
focused on getting to the front. Knupp squandered no time moving into
the top 10 and then set his sights on the top 5. He hovered among the
leaders most of the day and wheeled the MKR #96 Ford to a strong 5th
place finish.
