At approximately eight hours into the race with Darren Law behind the wheel, the No. 45 car developed a braking problem which caused the front brake to stay partially engaged, slowing the car considerably. He brought the car in for an unscheduled pit stop and the crew changed calipers, rotors and pads and made a driver change to Jon Fogarty. No. 45 was running second in GT2 class at the onset of the problem.
