96 Sentra... Where can I attach a remote starter?

 I want to run a compression test on my 96 Sentra with automatic trans
and I would like to use my remote starter. With my other cars, I have
simply attached the one wire of my remote starter to battery voltage
and the other to the ignition wire attachment at the starter. The
starter in my car is in such a bad place that I would like to attach
it somewhere else. Suggestions please.
